Modular Kitchens
Modular kitchens built for a Gorakhpur monsoon

Most kitchen complaints in this part of Uttar Pradesh trace back to one decision: the board. Through a Gorakhpur July the air sits heavy for weeks, and cabinets built from cheap moisture-resistant board drink that humidity, swell at the edges and start shedding their finish by the second summer.
So every kitchen we deliver is built on a BWP plywood carcass — boiling water proof, a full grade above the BWR board most quotes stop at — whichever shutter finish goes on top. The shutter is the part you see. The carcass is the part that decides whether the kitchen still closes properly in year five.
And because we are not tied to one factory, the materials are matched to your budget rather than your budget to one brand's price list. Once the design is signed off, each part is ordered from the manufacturer best suited to it, to the approved specification.
The layout matters just as much. We measure the room ourselves, including the awkward parts — the beam that drops six inches, the window that opens inward, the gas pipe nobody accounted for — and then draw the whole kitchen in 3D so you can walk through it before anything is ordered.

Common questions
About modular kitchens
How long does a kitchen take?
Two to four weeks on site for most kitchens, after the design is approved. Design and approval usually take another week or two depending on how many revisions you want. We give you a date range in writing, and if something slips you hear it from us before you notice it yourself.
Can you work around my existing granite or plumbing?
Often, yes. We measure what is already there and design around it where it makes sense. Where it does not — a counter at the wrong height, a sink position that wastes the whole run — we will say so and explain what changing it costs.
What is the difference between acrylic and laminate shutters?
Acrylic gives a deep, near-seamless gloss and holds its colour, but it shows fingerprints and costs more. Laminate is tougher against knocks, comes in far more finishes and is easier to repair panel by panel. For a kitchen that gets heavy daily use, laminate on the base units and acrylic above is a sensible split.
What is BWP plywood, and is it good enough for a kitchen?
BWP stands for boiling water proof. It sits two steps above the MR (moisture-resistant) board many cheaper kitchens are quietly built on and which swells in a humid Gorakhpur monsoon, and one step above BWR — boiling water resistant — which is where most quotes in this market stop. Every kitchen we deliver uses a BWP plywood carcass. The shutters are HDHMR, which holds a screw and takes every finish we offer without the edge swelling that catches out MDF.
Do you supply appliances?
We design and build the housings to the exact model you choose, and we will tell you where a chimney or hob size is going to cause a problem. Buying the appliances themselves is usually cheaper for you to do directly.
